2020 Team Tryouts:
Trampoline & Tumbling
TEAM TRYOUTS WILL BE SUNDAY, JULY 19
TRYOUTS ARE $40, DUE AT THE TIME OF SCHEDULING
SIGS teams are a commitment to the sport, with increased practice times, and nearly a year of togetherness with a coach(es) and team members that become family. We have three programs at SIGS for competitive gymnasts to develop and grow and three levels of trampoline and tumbling as well.
Each work similar skills and tracks, with our team director and coaches synergized on progressions, skills, and lessons to meet expectations for the individual sports. Workouts are individualized for students' skills, and our teams maintain our low ratios and the same cleaning protocols for everyone's health and safety.
Students are trying out for the following women's gymnastics teams or co-ed trampoline & tumbling teams:
Gymnastics - eXplore Recreational Team: Our NEW Recreational Team program is a progressive, non-competitive girls' gymnastics experience meeting weekly for 1.5 hours and is a 5-month commitment. The program includes a skill showcase at the end so they can show off their abilities! Session 1 is August - December and Session 2 is January - May.
Gymnastics - eXcite Child, Junior, or Senior: The eXcite program is the first tier of our Women’s Team Program for gymnasts who are ready to commit to being a part of a team. eXcite teams are divided by age and train a similar skillset in preparation for our competitive team program. Athletes practice two days a week; practices are 1.5-2 hours per session.
Investment $147 - 161/mo.
Gymnastics - eXtreme Training Team: The eXtreme program, as the name implies, requires the greatest degree of commitment and is designed for athletes who are both physically and mentally prepared to train gymnastics at the highest level. eXtreme groups practice 1.5-3 hours per session, two days per week.
Trampoline & Tumbling - Beginner or Novice, Intermediate, or Advanced: Trampolining is a competitive Olympic sport in which gymnasts perform acrobatics while bouncing on a trampoline. These can include simple jumps in the pike, tuck, or straddle position, to more complex combinations of forward or backward somersaults and twists. The sport also features power tumbling on specialty floors with advanced tumbling techniques and series.
Investment $125- 225/mo. (based on team)
At all levels of team, athletes will have separate uniform expenses;
