NO MEMBER FEES: When you join us for classes at SIGS, we ask that you commit to them for two months. Eight/nine weeks allows your student to become acclimated to our routine here, their instructor, their classmates, and to receive enough instruction to learn about the program and have some success as well. Continued classes will improve overall fitness, core strength, and ability, as well as focus and listening skills as studies have shown.
EASY MONTHLY PAYMENTS: We bill monthly, automatically, on the 20th of the month for the following month for recreational classes. After two months of classes if you wish to unenroll, please do so online in the parent portal or by phone at 812-949-7447 before the 20th of the month. Some of our months have 4 classes, and some have 5 classes depending on the calendar. Our monthly prices are the same - in the course of a year students will receive the same amount of classes if continuously enrolled.
SIGS automatically pro-rates classes for holidays or weeks when we are closed (usually one week during fall break, one week around Christmas and one week in spring). Closing dates will be communicated in advance and often via email, text, verbally and paper copy to families.
WEATHER POLICY: In the event of inclimate weather, if SIGS chooses to close, we will credit the day or offer a makeup at our discretion. SIGS rarely closes for weather - we are not affiliated with any school system. Announcements will be communicated via text, email, and our Facebook page and may also appear on local network stations.
MISSED CLASSES: If your child misses a class we do not credit the missed date. We are unable to offer make-ups. If you find that your child's class day is no longer working for your schedule, please call us or self-administer a change of date from our Parent Portal. In the event of a medical situation, please bring us a note from a medical provider and we will issue a credit for a medically seen illness or injury. We are unable to credit missed classes for reasons of illness without a medical note.
SAFETY IS #1: The safety of our athletes, staff, and families is our top priority. SIGS' staff receives ongoing training regarding standards for athlete safety. SIGS has open viewing areas both upstairs and downstairs for parents to watch instruction during classes, individual lessons, and other activities (i.e. birthday parties, bouncetime, etc.). SIGS staff members are background checked, reference checked, and are subject to drug testing.
