LEVEL 4 TEAM PLACES SECOND AT FLIP-4-A-CAUSE
The Level 4 team posted a strong performance at the Flip-4-A-Cause competition in late January. Challenges on the beam kept them from a first-place finish, but the team’s total of 111.650 was good for second overall.
The team posted the top bar score of the meet tallying a 28.625. Madelyn Chandler led the way with a 9.675, placing second in her division. Zoe Absher claimed the bars title with a 9.550 while Janella Green also posted a solid mark of 9.40 for second.
The team also earned the top spot on vault, this time led by Green. Her score of 9.525 won gold as did Cheyenne Everage’s 9.425. Kerrington Uhl (9.30) contributed to the event total and earned herself silver on the event.
On the floor, three athletes earned podium finishes for their routines. Everage being the top scorer for the team with a 9.30. Katy Quiram (9.250) and Sam Norwood (9.10) rounded out the team’s performance. Everage and Quiram took second in their divisions while Norwood came in third.
