DOMINGUEZ NEARLY SWEEPS EVENT TITLES AT KENTUCKY CLASSIC
Jemima Dominguez earned four of five event titles as she led the Level 3 team to a third-place finish at the KY Classic. The team tallied a strong January mark of 112.150.
Floor proved to be the team’s best event counting 3 scores in the 9.50 range
Dominguez was the team’s top performer with a 9.575 earning one of her four gold medals at the competition. Chloe Terry-Mosier and Emerson Cecil were just behind her with marks of 9.550 and 9.50, respectively. Terry-Mosier and Cecil each earned a silver medal in their divisions.
The team was able to reach the 28-mark again on the beam led by Dominguez. Her score of 9.450 took first, followed by Arienette Berryman’s 9.30 which was also good for first-place in her age division. Cecil (9.250) rounded out the event taking second overall.
On the Bars
Cecil posted the top mark for the team with a 9.425 earning herself a gold medal. Taking the silver this time, Dominguez’s score of 9.30 contributed to the team total. Mia Wilkinson also contributed to the event with a 9.150 score good for first in her division. The team tallied a 27.875 on the event.
For the Vault
For the vault, Annabelle Kratzwald’s 9.350-performance earned her the top-spot on the podium. Dominguez claimed her third gold medal with a mark of 9.150 while Lila Moore posted the same score but placed second in her division.
Multiple athletes reached the podium in the all-around. Dominguez atop with a big 37.475 for her fourth gold medal. Cecil (37.175), Terry-Mosier (36.30) and Mia Wilkinson (35.450) each brought home the silver in their respective divisions. Eden Long also placed in the all-around with her consistent performance tallying a 35.10 for third.
