LINCOLN PLACES AMONG TOP 5 AT JPAC
Feb. 22 – The Level 6s competed at the JPAC Midwest Showdown (JPAC) where the 3-man team earned a season-high score of 110.250. Morgan Lincoln was the top-scorer for the team, taking home the all-around silver with a 37.10.
With only three members competing, every score counted as the top 3 scores on each event count towards the team total.
The team improved their beam score by nearly a point and a half tallying a 27.40. Kendall Williams led the team with a 9.350, a new high-score this season. Lincoln’s mark of 9.20 was good enough to reach the Top 5 on the event placing fifth.
The team’s best performance came on the floor where Lincoln posted a 9.50 for third. Rowan Deming matched a season-high with a 9.450 and Williams just behind her with a 9.425.
On vault, William’s set another season-best with a 9.30 leading the team to a third-place event finish. With the addition of a 9.025 on bars, she matched Lincoln’s mark in the all-around earning fifth.
The Level 6-9 teams will compete in one last prep competition in Columbus, OH before competing at the State Championship at the end of March.
