We Cannot Wait to See You Again!

We've worked with local and state government to ensure the best practices for re-opening and have their approval.


Here is our timeline:


  1. May 26: Women's eXcel and eXtreme Competitive Teams will practice beginning this week; Men's Levels 6-10 Competitive Teams will practice beginning this week as well. Emails from team directors have been sent.

  2. May 26: SWIM programming will begin again. Our swim programs are a 1:4 ratio in the pool of instructors:students. Please have children arrive in swim attire ready to go.

  3. June 15: All other teams will begin practices (Trampoline & Tumbling, Women's eXcite, Men's L 3-5). Look for practice schedules soon direct to your email.

  4. June 15: All recreational classes will begin again. Not ready to get back? Please send us an email ASAP at Pause@SIGSgym.com. Our phones are expected to be busy - we would like to have a note from you so that we can process a pause on your account by June 12; we can make these changes after hours. We will respond to you to confirm.

  5. July 5: BOUNCETIME will reopen.



FOR MAY 26 TEAMS REOPENING:

  • Using STAGE 3 “Back on Track” guidelines for the state of Indiana.

  • Facemasks provided for all staff.

  • One adult per athlete may enter the building. We encourage those age 65 or older, or with known high-risk medical conditions, to stay safe at home per CDC recommendations.

  • SIGS super-sanitation processes include hand sanitizer offered at every event, cleaning of apparatus after each team use, hourly bathroom sanitation. Overnight deep cleaning of all student and staff areas.

  • Teams will be separated and will carry their items with them: small backpacks with water bottles, and all needed items. Athletes must stay with their teams and will walk together to each new rotation. Coaches will always stay with their teams.


FOR MAY 26 SWIM REOPENING:

  • SIGS Swim classes are a 1:4 ratio of instructor to students.

  • One adult per participant may stay and watch with their child. We encourage those age 65 or older, or with known high-risk medical conditions, to stay safe at home per CDC recommendations.

  • We encourage participants to arrive in swimwear for class. We also will encourage minimal use of locker rooms at this time.

  • Using STAGE 3 “Back on Track” guidelines for the state of Indiana, pools may open.

  • One adult per participant may enter the building.

  • Siblings and non-participant students are discouraged.

  • SIGS super-sanitation processes include hand sanitizer offered before and after class, continuous cleaning of pool area by staff, hourly bathroom sanitation. Overnight deep cleaning of all student and staff areas.



SIGS BIRTHDAY PARTIES PROCEDURES:

  • Parties are limited to 15 participants

  • One adult per child can attend. We encourage those age 65 or older, or with known high-risk medical conditions, to stay safe at home per CDC recommendations.

  • ONLY children in the birthday party area, unless a child is under 3 years old or under then ONE adult may enter to help that child.

  • The party child’s parents may enter. Other than the specification due to age above, these are the ONLY ADULTS other than our staff that can be in the gym. This will be strictly adhered to.


BIRTHDAY FOOD GUIDELINES

  • CUPCAKES only; no ice cream, no full cakes to be cut.

  • Birthday child will blow out candle separately (not at seated table; not near other food) on individual cupcake if desired.

  • Apparatus will be cleaned between each party.

  • Hourly bathroom checks and cleaning.

  • Overnight sanitation of all student and staff areas.

  • Facemasks are encouraged and will be worn by staff and any adults in attendance.



EXCITE TEAMS, TRAMPOLINE & TUMBLING, MENS LEVEL 3-5: June 15

  • Teams will be separated and will carry their items with them: small backpacks with water bottles, and all needed items. Athletes must stay with their teams and will walk together to each new rotation. Coaches will always stay with their teams.

  • Apparatus will be cleaned between class and team

  • Hourly bathroom checks and cleaning

  • Overnight sanitation of all student and staff areas


RECREATIONAL CLASSES: JUNE 15 gymnastics, trampoline and tumbling, aerials, tumbling

  • SIGS recreational gymnastics, trampoline, and tumbling class ratios are 1:4, 1:6, or 1:8 ratios (depending on age and level)

  • Students may wear facecoverings if they choose; staff masks are optional

  • Apparatus will be cleaned between class and team

  • Hourly bathroom checks and cleaning

  • Overnight sanitation of all student and staff areas


Monday, July 6 for BOUNCETIME programming on weekdays 9 am – noon

  • Staff masks are optional

  • Apparatus will be cleaned

  • Hourly bathroom checks and cleaning

  • Overnight sanitation of all student and staff areas

  • Hand sanitizer offered

  • No food or drink in the Bouncetime areas

  • One adult per child

  • Adults enter with their child

  • Strict crowd limitations will apply

  • Participating children must be under 54” tall
