Small Classes. FUN + Learning!
SIGS' swim program is led by certified instructors. We teach swimming and water safety and maintain low instructor to student ratios.
All program levels have lesson plans. Students are promoted to the next level by mastery of skills (see below). They do not wait for a month or session to end, and students may begin a level at any time.

Students should wear a modest suit, and bring a towel; goggles are optional but preferred by most students, especially in levels 3-7.
Swim diapers should be worn by those not potty trained.
Level 2 Swim
Students are taught to hold their breath underwater for 6-10 seconds. Taught to kick the WIDTH of the pool. Work to swim half the width of the pool without assistance. Taught to retrieve rings/sticks from the third step of the pool.
